\u00abSummonses don't work\u00bb: CCC explains why mobilisation alerts failed<\/h2>\n

A spokesperson for the Poltava Regional Territorial Centre for Recruitment and Social Support (TCCs and JVs<\/strong>) Roman Istomin<\/strong> stated that the delivery of summonses in Ukraine often fails due to the massive disregard of legal requirements for citizens to report to recruitment centres.<\/p>\n

According to him, in such circumstances, \u00abonly the compulsory option remains\u00bb, as voluntary reporting to the TCC rarely works.<\/p>\n

Istomin stressed that a significant number of citizens do not respond to summonses and do not fulfil their obligation to clarify their data and undergo military registration procedures.<\/p>\n

According to him, this creates obstacles in the implementation of mobilisation plans, as well as in keeping accurate records of persons liable for military service.<\/p>\n

The spokesperson stressed that the process cannot be effective without coercive measures, as \u00abvoluntariness has virtually disappeared\u00bb.<\/p>\n

In recent months, TCCs in different regions have reported difficulties with alerts and data clarification due to the refusal of citizens to cooperate.<\/p>\n

Earlier, the government stated the need to strengthen control, modernise registers and introduce new accounting mechanisms.<\/p>\n
