Ukraine and Greece sign a natural gas supply agreement<\/h2>\n

Ukraine and Greece have officially signed an agreement on sale and transportation of natural gas<\/strong>, which will be delivered from the Greek port of Alexandroupolis to Odesa. Deliveries will start in January 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Under the agreement, Ukraine will receive gas as directly from Greece<\/strong>, and from the USA<\/strong>, which will be delivered via Greek LNG terminals.<\/p>\n

Details of the deal<\/h2>\n

    The gas will be delivered through the gas infrastructure connecting Greece, Bulgaria and Romania to the Ukrainian GTS.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    The main supply hub will be Alexandroupolis LNG terminal<\/strong>, which allows us to receive US liquefied natural gas.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Odesa has been designated as the main gas entry point to Ukraine.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Import will start at the beginning of 2026<\/strong>, The company will launch the new route after the technical integration of the routes is completed and commercial terms are agreed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Government representatives stressed that the agreement is a \u00abhistoric step\u00bb towards diversifying Ukraine's energy sources amid the ongoing war and limited access to traditional supply markets.<\/p>\n
