Russia agrees to return part of the occupied territories of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia to Ukraine, but demands recognition of Crimea and Donbas<\/h2>\n

    further multi-level security guarantees.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    For Ukraine, these points are unacceptable<\/strong>, This has been repeatedly emphasised at the official level.<\/p>\n

    Ukraine's response<\/h2>\n

    Ukrainian authorities, according to Axios, categorically denies most of the points of the plan<\/strong>. Kyiv insists that:<\/p>\n

      any agreements must comply with international law;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      the issue of territories cannot be the subject of bargaining;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Negotiations are possible only if the territorial integrity is restored.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Witkoff's meeting cancelled<\/h2>\n

      Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff<\/strong> was to meet today with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan<\/strong>, to discuss the proposed plan. But the meeting was postponed<\/strong>, probably due to the large-scale political resonance and criticism of the document.<\/p>\n
