Poland to allocate $100 million for purchase of US weapons for Ukraine under PURL scheme<\/h2>\n

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Radoslav Sikorsky<\/strong> said that Warsaw would allocate $100 million<\/strong> for the purchase of US weapons for Ukraine under the programme PURL<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Under this scheme, partner countries finance the purchase of American defence systems, which Washington promptly supplies to Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Why Poland is increasing its support<\/h2>\n

Sikorski stressed that Poland \u00abremains one of Ukraine's key partners\u00bb and will continue to strengthen its defence capabilities.<\/p>\n

Funding under the PURL programme will allow:<\/p>\n

    speed up the supply of modern weapons;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    to increase the combat capability of the Armed Forces;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
