US pressures Ukraine and Europe on Trump's plan: embassy meeting turns into scandal<\/h2>\n

The United States has sharply increased pressure on Ukraine and its European partners to adopt the so-called of Trump's peace plan<\/strong>, which, according to US negotiators, is \u00abalmost non-negotiable\u00bb. This was reported by Financial Times<\/strong>, describing a meeting at the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington the day before.<\/p>\n

According to one European diplomat, the atmosphere of the talks had a \u00abnauseating tone\u00bb and the discussion \u00abquickly got out of hand\u00bb. The US side insisted that it was only \u00aba matter of time\u00bb before an agreement was reached, hinting at the inevitability of the Ukrainian side accepting Washington's terms.<\/p>\n
