EU ambassadors convene extraordinary meeting to discuss outcome of Geneva talks<\/h2>\n

Ambassadors of the European Union will gather this evening at the extraordinary meeting<\/strong>, to discuss the results of the peace talks in Geneva. This was reported by Public<\/em> with reference to diplomatic sources.<\/p>\n

According to the newspaper, the meeting was convened due to the need to quickly develop a common EU position<\/strong> on the changes that the US plans to make to its \u00abpeace proposals\u00bb after negotiations with its allies.<\/p>\n

Previously, the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio<\/strong> said that Washington is working on an updated version of the document and already has a \u00abvery good working version\u00bb. European capitals, for their part, insist on a number of key amendments, including:<\/p>\n
