The categories for which funds can be spent under the National Cashback and Winter Thousand programmes have changed\u00ab<\/h2>\n

The Ministry of Social Policy has updated the rules for the use of funds under the programmes \u00abNational cashback\u00bb<\/strong> and \u00abWinter Thousand\u00bb<\/strong>. From now on, participants will not be able to use the funds to top up their mobile phones, pay for the Internet or purchase cinema and train tickets.<\/p>\n

What is now allowed to spend money on<\/h3>\n

The government has defined a new list of categories to which payments can be allocated. Among them:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • \n

    payment utilities<\/strong> and services of postal operators;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    purchases foodstuffs<\/strong> in shops and supermarkets;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    acquisition medicines, books and printed materials<\/strong>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    realisation charitable contributions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The Ministry of Social Policy explained that these changes are aimed at supporting critical areas of consumption and social initiatives.<\/p>\n

    \u00abWinter Thousand\u00bb: how many Ukrainians have already received aid<\/h3>\n

    First payments under the programme \u00abWinter support\u00bb<\/strong> have already been received:<\/p>\n

      1.7 million adults<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      253 thousand children<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
