This is evidenced by data from the Institute for Research on Developing Countries, Bank of Finland (<strong data-start=\"651\" data-end=\"660\">BOFIT<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"666\" data-end=\"825\">The growth is a result of the fact that due to Western sanctions, Russia has become critically dependent on Chinese imports and is effectively deprived of alternative suppliers.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"827\" data-end=\"874\">Prices for Russia increased 10 times more<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"875\" data-end=\"1023\">According to BOFIT, <strong data-start=\"892\" data-end=\"967\">average prices for Chinese goods subject to export control<\/strong>, for Russian buyers in the period from 2021 to 2024:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1025\" data-end=\"1045\">\n<li data-start=\"1025\" data-end=\"1045\">\n<p data-start=\"1027\" data-end=\"1045\"><strong data-start=\"1027\" data-end=\"1044\">increased by 87%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1047\" data-end=\"1092\">For other countries, prices for similar products:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1094\" data-end=\"1123\">\n<li data-start=\"1094\" data-end=\"1123\">\n<p data-start=\"1096\" data-end=\"1123\"><strong data-start=\"1096\" data-end=\"1122\">increased by only 9%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1125\" data-end=\"1219\">Thus, Beijing has raised the cost for Russia <strong data-start=\"1170\" data-end=\"1197\">ten times stronger<\/strong>, than for the rest of the market.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1221\" data-end=\"1263\">\u00abRising prices without rising goods\u00bb<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1264\" data-end=\"1365\">In some categories, the price increase is not related to additional volumes or new features.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1367\" data-end=\"1377\">For example:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1379\" data-end=\"1520\">\n<li data-start=\"1379\" data-end=\"1462\">\n<p data-start=\"1381\" data-end=\"1462\">imports by russia <strong data-start=\"1395\" data-end=\"1421\">Chinese bearings<\/strong> in monetary terms increased by <strong data-start=\"1452\" data-end=\"1459\">76%<\/strong>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1463\" data-end=\"1520\">\n<p data-start=\"1465\" data-end=\"1520\">while <strong data-start=\"1475\" data-end=\"1519\">physical volume of deliveries decreased by 13%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1522\" data-end=\"1636\">In other words, Russia began to pay much more for a smaller quantity of goods - solely because of the supplier's price increase.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1638\" data-end=\"1674\">Price increases not only from China<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1675\" data-end=\"1769\">The researchers also recorded a sharp rise in the price of goods that Russia buys through Turkey.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1771\" data-end=\"1826\">Sanctioned products are costly for Russian companies:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1828\" data-end=\"1885\">\n<li data-start=\"1828\" data-end=\"1885\">\n<p data-start=\"1830\" data-end=\"1885\"><strong data-start=\"1830\" data-end=\"1851\">25-55% more expensive<\/strong>, than other products on the same market.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1887\" data-end=\"2056\">This confirms the general trend: Russians are becoming a \u00abclient from whom the maximum is taken\u00bb, taking advantage of
