{"id":6333,"date":"2025-12-03T08:12:38","date_gmt":"2025-12-03T06:12:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/?p=6333"},"modified":"2025-12-03T08:12:38","modified_gmt":"2025-12-03T06:12:38","slug":"japan-ireland-new-aid-ukraine-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ukrmedia.news\/en\/economics\/japan-ireland-new-aid-ukraine-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Japan and Ireland announce new aid packages for Ukraine"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Japan and Ireland announce new aid to Ukraine<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"361\" data-end=\"503\">The Government of Japan has decided to grant Ukraine <strong data-start=\"404\" data-end=\"424\">$27 million in aid<\/strong>, aimed at strengthening civil protection and supporting internal security.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"505\" data-end=\"537\">The distribution of funds will look like this:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"539\" data-end=\"761\">\n<li data-start=\"539\" data-end=\"663\">\n<p data-start=\"541\" data-end=\"663\"><strong data-start=\"541\" data-end=\"552\">$23 million<\/strong> - for equipment for the State Emergency Service, equipment for humanitarian demining and training programmes for Ukrainian sappers;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"664\" data-end=\"761\">\n<p data-start=\"666\" data-end=\"761\"><strong data-start=\"666\" data-end=\"682\">over $3 million<\/strong> - for specialised medical equipment for institutions within the MIA system.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"763\" data-end=\"889\">The funds will help modernise the material and technical base of rescue services that deal with the consequences of Russian attacks on a daily basis.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"891\" data-end=\"927\">Ireland allocates \u20ac125 million<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"928\" data-end=\"980\">At the same time, Ireland announced two separate packages:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"982\" data-end=\"1188\">\n<li data-start=\"982\" data-end=\"1082\">\n<p data-start=\"984\" data-end=\"1082\"><strong data-start=\"984\" data-end=\"996\">\u20ac100 million<\/strong> - for non-lethal military assistance to Ukraine (protective equipment, equipment, logistics);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1083\" data-end=\"1188\">\n<p data-start=\"1085\" data-end=\"1188\"><strong data-start=\"1085\" data-end=\"1096\">\u20ac25 million<\/strong> - to support the Ukrainian energy system, which is under constant Russian attack.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1190\" data-end=\"1316\">Dublin emphasises that these funds are aimed at strengthening Ukraine's winter resilience and ensuring vital services.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1318\" data-end=\"1331\">Context.<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1332\" data-end=\"1597\">Japan and Ireland have consistently supported Ukraine since the first months of the full-scale war.
