NATO should guarantee Ukraine at least \u20ac1 billion a month for the purchase of US weapons<\/h2>\n

NATO Secretary General Mark R\u00fctte<\/strong> stated that the Alliance should ensure minimum \u20ac1 billion per month<\/strong> over the next year to purchase US weapons for Ukraine. He said this at a briefing, commenting on the state of funding for Kyiv's defence support.<\/p>\n

\u00abWe have to make sure that over the next year we have at least 1 billion a month to buy weapons for Ukraine from the US,\u00bb Rutte said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u20ac4bn raised and optimism for December<\/h2>\n

According to the Secretary General, NATO member states have already accumulated \u20ac4 billion<\/strong>, The Bank will use the funds as part of a long-term support package.<\/p>\n

Rutte also expressed confidence that December financial plan will be met<\/strong>, and Allies will maintain the required pace of contributions.<\/p>\n

Why we need funding stability<\/h2>\n

Rutte stressed that it is critical for Ukraine's defence to have estimated annual funding<\/strong>, rather than situational packages, because:<\/p>\n
