The spokesman for the Russian dictator Dmitry Peskov<\/strong> said that reports of Putin's alleged rejection of the US peace plan \u00abare not true\u00bb. Peskov stressed the need for the talks to be kept confidential:<\/p>\n \u00abThe quieter the negotiations are, the better the results can be expected.\u00bb.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Peskov tried to present Russia's position as constructive, noting that:<\/p>\n Moscow is \u00abcarefully studying\u00bb all the information provided by the US side;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n The negotiation process allegedly \u00abdid not stop\u00bb;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n \u00abtime and a calm atmosphere\u00bb are needed to evaluate proposals.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n At the same time, Peskov did not specify which points of the US peace plan are objectionable and which are preliminarily acceptable to the Kremlin.<\/p>\n In recent days, the media have reported that the Russian side has criticised some of the US proposals and passed on its comments to Washington.
