The Rada supported the draft budget for 2026 in the second reading<\/h2>\n

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has approved in the second reading the draft state budget for 2026<\/strong>. The following voted in favour of the document 261 people's deputies<\/strong>, reports Public<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The review was held as part of the scheduled agenda, after the discussion of key provisions and amendments to the draft law was completed.<\/p>\n

What the draft budget envisages<\/h2>\n

Although the full text of the adopted document will be made public later, it is known that the government has set the following priorities in the 2026 budget:<\/p>\n

    financing of the security and defence sector;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    support for critical infrastructure and energy;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Continuation of social programmes;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    economic recovery and modernisation;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Increasing resources for education and healthcare.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The government also stressed that the budget was formed taking into account the military situation and the need to stabilise the financial system.<\/p>\n

    Budget 2026 is one of the key financial documents for planning public spending during a full-scale war. The second reading actually determines the final configuration of the main funding items before the law is adopted as a whole.<\/p>\n
