US diplomat calls EU policy harmful to transatlantic partnership<\/h2>\n

A US diplomat sharply criticised the European Union's policy after the EU authorities fined the X platform (formerly Twitter) $140 million for violating the Digital Services Act. This is reported by Reuters<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Deputy Secretary of State of the United States Christopher Landau<\/strong> said that the EU's decision \u00abcontradicts the security interests of the West\u00bb and creates tensions in transatlantic relations.<\/p>\n

According to him, European governments are simultaneously calling for a stronger US role in NATO, but \u00abpushing regulatory policies that harm American companies\u00bb.<\/p>\n
