We are talking about advertising the so-called <strong data-start=\"496\" data-end=\"540\">\u00abtraditional values\u00bb and \u00abpatriotism\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"543\" data-end=\"560\">What they offer<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"561\" data-end=\"644\">According to the initiative, bloggers and administrators of popular pages will have to:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"645\" data-end=\"758\">\n<li data-start=\"645\" data-end=\"688\">\n<p data-start=\"647\" data-end=\"688\">accommodate <strong data-start=\"659\" data-end=\"687\">propaganda advertising<\/strong>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"689\" data-end=\"758\">\n<p data-start=\"691\" data-end=\"758\">divert under it <strong data-start=\"709\" data-end=\"757\">at least 5% of all advertising content<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"760\" data-end=\"930\">The draft law is being developed with the participation of <strong data-start=\"797\" data-end=\"838\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Council of the Federation of the Russian Federation<\/span><\/span><\/strong> and is seen as part of a broader state policy of control over the information space.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"932\" data-end=\"959\">Who will be affected<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"960\" data-end=\"998\">It is expected that the new requirements will be applied:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"999\" data-end=\"1125\">\n<li data-start=\"999\" data-end=\"1032\">\n<p data-start=\"1001\" data-end=\"1032\">bloggers with a large audience;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1033\" data-end=\"1079\">\n<p data-start=\"1035\" data-end=\"1079\">owners of commercially monetised accounts;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1080\" data-end=\"1125\">\n<p data-start=\"1082\" data-end=\"1125\">authors who cooperate with advertisers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1127\" data-end=\"1245\">Failure to comply with the requirements may result in <strong data-start=\"1163\" data-end=\"1220\">fines, blocking of content or restriction of activities<\/strong> on Russian social media.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1247\" data-end=\"1259\">Context.<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1260\" data-end=\"1538\">The initiative is another step towards <strong data-start=\"1300\" data-end=\"1362\">Increased censorship and government pressure on digital platforms<\/strong> in russia.
