Kolomoisky's lawyer Serhiy Stetsiuk detained - SBU<\/h2>\n

Employees Security Services of Ukraine<\/span><\/span><\/strong> a businessman's lawyer was detained Ihor Kolomoisky<\/span><\/span><\/strong> - Sergey Stetsyuk<\/strong>. This was reported by the SBU.<\/p>\n

According to the investigation, Stetsiuk demanded $100 ths.<\/strong> from representatives of one of the capital's companies for \u00abresolving\u00bb tax issues. In case of refusal, he threatened to impose fines in the amount of almost UAH 1 billion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Details of the case<\/h3>\n

According to the SBU, the suspect positioned himself as a person with \u00abextensive connections\u00bb in government agencies and claimed that he could influence the results of tax audits.<\/p>\n

Law enforcement officers detained him during the implementation of a corruption scheme<\/strong>. The issue of serving a notice of suspicion and choosing a measure of restraint is currently being decided.<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/h3>\n

The actions of the defendant are classified under the articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine related to extortion of undue advantage<\/strong> and abuse of influence<\/strong>. The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n
