Russian attack on Kyiv: one killed, three others injured after strike on medical facility<\/h2>\n

On the night of 5 January, Russian troops launched another attack on the capital of Ukraine. The strike damaged a four-storey building of a medical facility where an inpatient department was operating at the time of the attack.<\/p>\n

Details of the attack<\/h3>\n

As reported by State Emergency Service of Ukraine<\/strong>, The hit occurred on the second floor of the building. The impact caused a fire, which rescuers quickly extinguished.<\/p>\n

During the inspection of the premises, the rescuers found the body of a deceased person.<\/p>\n

According to updated SES data, as a result of the attack three more people were injured<\/strong>. Information on their condition is being updated.<\/p>\n

Rescue operation<\/h3>\n

Units of the State Emergency Service, medical teams and rescue officers were involved in the aftermath of the shelling. The inspection of the damaged building has been completed.<\/p>\n
