Two tent cities set up in Troyeschyna due to lack of electricity and heating after shelling<\/h2>\n

In the capital's neighbourhood Troyeschina<\/strong> deployed two tent camps<\/strong> For the remaining residents without electricity and heating<\/strong> as a result of Russian shelling.<\/p>\n

On site was Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko<\/strong>, who said that the decision was made after a detailed analysis of the situation in Kyiv together with SES and local authorities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

What we know<\/h3>\n

According to the minister, in this neighbourhood:<\/p>\n

    about 20 multi-storey buildings<\/strong>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    reside 12 to 14 thousand residents<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    In one tent city, there are six tents<\/strong>, each calculated on average for up to 40 people<\/strong>. If the situation worsens, the tents can accommodate hundreds of people<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Conditions for residents<\/h3>\n

    In the tents, people are able to:<\/p>\n

    • \n

      keep warm<\/strong>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      recharge mobile devices<\/strong>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      take a break<\/strong> in a safe environment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The work of rescuers<\/h3>\n

      According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the following are currently involved in Kyiv about 600 rescuers<\/strong>, that work in shifts and continuously<\/strong>, and performing:<\/p>\n

        clearing the rubble after shelling;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        emergency rescue operations in difficult and dangerous conditions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
