Ex-head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Serhiy Deyneko granted bail in the amount of UAH 10 million<\/h2>\n

To the former head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Sergey Deyneko<\/strong> a deposit of 10 million hryvnias<\/strong>. This was reported by Ukrayinska Pravda with reference to the data of the High Anti-Corruption Court.<\/p>\n

According to the court, the funds were deposited by another person<\/strong> within the time limit set by the procedural decision.<\/p>\n

The essence of the suspicion<\/h3>\n

Law enforcement agencies suspect the former head of the Border Guard Service and a number of others of possible involvement in organising the illegal movement of tobacco products across the state border<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

According to the investigation, the smuggling could have taken place systematically<\/strong>, and for the unimpeded passage of vehicles, money was allegedly paid in the amount of about 3 thousand euros per car<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

An official legal assessment of these circumstances will be provided by the court after the case is completed on the merits.<\/p>\n
