Russian troops attack energy infrastructure in Odesa region at night<\/h2>\n

On the night of 10 February, Russian troops struck again at energy infrastructure facilities in the south of the region.<\/p>\n

According to the Odesa Regional Military Administration, the following were recorded as a result of the attack damage to a power facility<\/strong>, which caused a fire. Also damaged was administrative building<\/strong> next door.<\/p>\n

Currently no information about the victims was received<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Some communities left without electricity supply<\/h3>\n

Due to damage to the energy infrastructure settlements in three communities of Odesa region are partially de-energised<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Critical infrastructure facilities were transferred to backup power supply from generators<\/strong>, to ensure the continued operation of key services and life support systems.<\/p>\n

Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy sector have been ongoing since the beginning of the full-scale war and intensify during periods of increased load on the energy system.<\/p>\n

Attacks on substations, power grids and generation facilities are aimed at creating electricity shortages, infrastructure disruptions and pressure on civilians<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
