Macron warns of possible conflict between the EU and the US and calls for Europe's independence<\/h2>\n

President of France Emmanuel Macron<\/strong> warned about the possible deterioration of relations between the European Union and the United States<\/strong> and called on Europe to prepare for a tougher confrontation in the economic and political spheres.<\/p>\n

According to him, the EU should no longer \u00abbend over backwards\u00bb or try to negotiate with Washington at any cost, as such a strategy did not produce the expected results<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    The French leader called the so-called \u00abGreenlandic moment\u00bb<\/strong> a worrying signal for Europe, indicating a change in the US approach to its allies.<\/p>\n

    He emphasised the need to urgent economic reforms<\/strong> and strengthening the EU's role in global politics.<\/p>\n

    According to Macron, the current relative lull in relations between the US and the EU is temporary<\/strong>, and new disputes are likely to arise in the coming months, in particular over European digital regulation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
