Pressure on defence companies could undermine Ukraine's missile programmes<\/h2>\n

The actions of some anti-corruption bodies inside the country may harm Ukraine's defence industry. This was stated by the managing partner of the National Anti-Crisis Group Taras Zagorodniy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

According to him, the use of missiles FP-5 \u00abFlamingo\u00bb<\/strong> is a de facto signal of Ukraine's desire to join the circle of states that possess intermediate-range missiles. At the same time, the expert argues, there is a parallel systemic pressure on defence enterprises.<\/p>\n

Zahorodniy claims a number of actions that, in his opinion, are detrimental to defence production:<\/p>\n

    The expert believes that such steps pose risks to the preservation of critical technologies and Ukraine's ability to produce weapons independently.<\/p>\n

    Connection with missile development<\/h2>\n

    According to Zahorodnyi, the development of our own missile systems means less dependence on external approvals<\/strong> for the use of long-range weapons.<\/p>\n

    He also stressed that internal pressure on defence enterprises could actually stop programmes that could provide Ukraine with strategic autonomy in the field of armaments.<\/p>\n
