Germany to strengthen Ukraine's air defence, but without Taurus missiles - Pistorius<\/h2>\n

Germany has committed to Strengthen Ukraine's air defence in the short term<\/strong>. This was stated by the Minister of Defence of Germany Boris Pistorius<\/strong> following a meeting of partners in the Ramstein format.<\/p>\n

According to him, in the coming days, the allies will confirm the previously announced steps to help Ukraine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

What the German Defence Minister said<\/h2>\n

Pistorius stressed that Berlin is actively working to strengthen its support for Kyiv:<\/p>\n

Despite the expansion of air defence assistance, the German authorities does not plan to transfer long-range Taurus missiles to Ukraine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The issue of their supply has long been a subject of political debate in Germany, but Berlin's official position has not changed.<\/p>\n
