
Attempted fraud
Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak reported that law enforcement officers had detained a group of fraudsters posing as his relatives and extorting large sums of money for «assistance» in finding employment in government agencies.
«The group was led by a man called Yermak D.S., who introduced himself as my cousin is, of course, a fiction,» Yermak wrote.
According to the police, the fraudsters demanded 100 thousand US dollars for «assistance» in the alleged employment of Office of the President.
