Air strikes in Zaporizhzhya: 4 injured, fires and destruction

Zaporizhzhya, Ukraine - about 03:45 Russian troops conducted air strikes on the regional centre, resulting in civilian casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure.

What is known about the victims

As a result of the attack, the following were injured four people:
- women 75, 66 and 35 years old;
- 46-year-old man.

All victims are being provided with the necessary medical care. Information about their condition is being updated.

Fires and destruction

A fire broke out in one of the city's districts garages with an area of about 50 sq m, in the other passenger car. The fires were promptly extinguished by rescuers.

In addition, the blast wave partially damaged:

• a fire station building;

• administrative buildings;

• multi-storey residential buildings;

• educational institution;

• cars of local residents.

Context.

Russian troops regularly strike the frontline regions of Ukraine, in particular Zaporizhzhia region, using aerial munitions and drones, which poses a constant threat to the civilian population.
