Enemy attacked residential sector in Zaporizhzhia at night

On the night of 2 November, Russian troops struck again at the residential sector Zaporizhzhya.
According to the report Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, as a result of shelling two people were injured. They were provided with medical assistance.

Consequences of the shelling

As a result of an enemy strike, several private houses. One of them suffered significant damage: part of the walls and the roof were destroyed.
Also because of the shelling about 58 thousand subscribers were left without electricity supply in the city and nearby settlements. Power engineers are already working to restore the grid.

Government response

Local authorities emphasise that attacks on residential infrastructure are another russian war crime.
Rescuers continue to work at the sites of the destruction, removing rubble and checking for people under it.

Context.

Zaporizhzhia remains one of the most frequently shelled areas of Ukraine. Russian forces systematically target residential areas, industrial facilities and critical infrastructure.
