Russian UAVs kill a civilian in Zaporizhzhia

According to preliminary data, in one of the settlements of Zaporizhzhia district, as a result of an enemy attack a man of 48 years old died. A residential building caught fire due to a direct hit from a drone. The fire was quickly extinguished by rescuers, but neighbouring houses were damaged.

A fire was also reported in a warehouse building in another village in the district. The fire was about 40 square metres in size.

Work of emergency services

The State Emergency Service units, medics and law enforcement officers were working at the scene. Specialists eliminated the consequences of the shelling and recorded the destruction of civilian infrastructure.

The Zaporizhzhia region is regularly targeted by drones and artillery. The shelling is directed not only at military targets, but also at residential buildings and commercial infrastructure, resulting in civilian casualties.
