Zelensky dismisses Ruslan Magomedov from the post of head of the NSSMC
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Ruslana Magomedova from the position of chairman National Securities and Stock Market Commission.
The relevant personnel decision was made within the framework of the presidential powers. The reasons for the dismissal are not yet detailed in open sources.
Context.
Ruslan Magomedov was appointed Chairman of the NSSMC 23 February 2021. In this role, he was responsible for the regulation and supervision of the securities market and stock market infrastructure of Ukraine, including in the context of a full-scale war and financial instability.
No information has been made public about the new head of the Commission or the interim head.
