Zelenskyy arrives in Turkey on a working visit: NSDC Secretary Umerov meets him at the airport

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Turkey on a working visit. The Ukrainian leader was met at the airport by Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov.

The trip includes a number of important diplomatic contacts aimed at deepening cooperation between Ukraine, Turkey and the United States.

Key meetings

In Turkey, Zelenskyy plans to hold talks with:

• Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan - Security issues, defence cooperation and the situation in the Black Sea are expected to be discussed.

• Special Representative of US President Donald Trump - Steve Witkoff - The meeting was dedicated to strategic support for Ukraine and coordination between Washington and Kyiv.

The visit takes place against the backdrop of the escalating situation at the frontline and a series of massive Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities.
