Zelenskyy: Ukraine will adjust the work of the negotiation team after Russia's strike
After today's massive Russian attack on Ukrainian territory, the work of the Ukrainian negotiating team will be adjusted accordingly. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to the Head of State, Russia's actions once again demonstrate the Kremlin's real intentions and call into question any statements about its readiness for de-escalation or negotiations.
What Zelensky said
The President stressed that the strikes on civilian and energy infrastructure in the freezing conditions were a deliberate pressure on Ukrainian society and international partners.
«After today's strike, the work of our negotiation team will be adjusted accordingly,» Zelensky said.
He stressed that Ukraine cannot ignore Russia's real actions when formulating its diplomatic position.

In recent weeks, Russia has intensified its attacks on Ukraine's energy facilities and civilian infrastructure, particularly during periods of critically low temperatures. The Ukrainian authorities have repeatedly stressed that such actions are an element of energy terror and an attempt to put pressure on the negotiation process.
The President's Office notes that any further diplomatic steps by Ukraine will be based solely on the principles of security and real guarantees, not on declarations by the aggressor state.
