More than 5 million Ukrainians have applied for UAH 1000 under the Winter Support programme - Svyrydenko
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko said that it has already 5 million Ukrainians applied for a payment of UAH 1000 under the state programme «Winter support».
Among them. 951,613 applications filed for children. According to the official, the payments will be made within 10 days after all budgetary decisions necessary to finance the programme have been made.

«Winter Support is aimed at helping people during the period of increased costs associated with the cold season. The programme is targeted at socially vulnerable categories, but is available to a wide range of recipients through Diia.
Svyrydenko assured that the government is working to ensure that the programme's funding remains stable despite the reserve fund deficit.

Demand for the programme increased significantly after a new wave of Russian attacks on energy infrastructure began, raising concerns about possible power and heat outages.
