Ukrainian Armed Forces are already training NATO troops to fight in modern conditions - General Staff on multinational training
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reports that Ukrainian units have already train the military of NATO and partner countries, sharing the experience of real combat operations in the current war conditions.
Details of the exercises
As part of the multinational training, the following are held:
Joint planning of operations,
Managing divisions in challenging environments,
performing combat missions in a multinational environment,
working out interoperability and modern tactics.
Military personnel are involved in the training Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Georgia, Lithuania, North Macedonia and Poland.
The General Staff emphasises that Ukraine's experience is one of the most valuable in the world, as it is formed daily in the context of a full-scale war.
Context.
Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, Ukraine has become a unique testing ground for modern warfare: drones, artillery, electronic warfare, assault tactics and urban defence are all being developed intensively by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Therefore, NATO countries are actively adopting Ukrainian solutions, including:
small group tactics,
integration of UAVs into combat operations,
dispersal of forces,
flexible command.
