Ukrainians will receive UAH 1000 of winter aid - Ministry of Social Policy

З 15 November to 15 December 2025 every citizen of Ukraine will be able to apply for receiving a one-time winter allowance of UAH 1000, said the head of the Ministry of Social Policy Denis Ulyutin.

«We are launching a new programme to support the population during the winter period. Every Ukrainian will be able to receive UAH 1,000 of winter assistance after submitting an online application,» said Ulyutin.

How to receive a payout

You will be able to submit your application:

• through Diia portal“ or the website of the Ministry of Social Policy;

• у ASCs at the place of residence;

• through Diia mobile application“ (after the update).

The payment will be made to a bank card the recipient specified in the application.

Who will receive assistance

The programme is designed for:

• citizens who affected by the war or are located in the temporarily occupied territories;

• pensioners, large families, IDPs, and people with disabilities;

• other categories of citizens in need of support during the heating season.

Context.

The Ministry of Social Policy emphasised that the programme is funded by from the state budget and international grants, In particular, with the support of EU and the UN.
Similar programmes were already in place in 2022-2023 and showed high efficiency in supporting low-income families.
