Starting from 2027, individual entrepreneurs will pay VAT

VAT will be introduced for individual entrepreneurs from 2027

According to the Minister of Finance Marchenko, The government is preparing a comprehensive tax reform, which includes Introduction of VAT for individual entrepreneurs, operating on a simplified system.

Marchenko acknowledged that this decision could cause discontent:

«Such measures are unlikely to please everyone, but they are important for economic stability,» he stressed.

The reform aims to increase budget revenues and bring the Ukrainian tax system closer to European standards.
