Ukraine has purchased mobile power equipment for Kyiv and Kharkiv region
Almost 40 trucks with mobile power equipment were purchased at the expense of the National Reserve of Ukraine. This was announced by the Minister of Development of Communities and Territories Dmytro Kuleba.
Delivery details
The following were sent to the capital 16 lorries with four cogeneration units with a capacity of 2.3 MW. The total cost of this equipment is UAH 241.8 million.
Heading to Kharkiv region 21 trucks. The area will receive three cogeneration units capacity by 4.3 MW total value UAH 304.3 million.
The total capacity of the transferred equipment exceeds 22 MW.
In addition, high-capacity generators with a total volume of more than 100 MW, The first of which have already arrived in Kyiv.

Deployment of mobile generation is part of the state strategy to strengthen energy sustainability of Ukraine against the backdrop of Russian attacks on infrastructure.
Cogeneration units allow for the simultaneous generation of electricity and heat, which is especially important for the stable heating season in large cities and frontline regions.
