The agreement provides not only for the transfer of technology but also for the exchange of experience in the field of maritime security. In particular, it concerns the use of maritime drones and the construction of a tiered defence system.

Ukraine shared with its partners its experience in the Black Sea corridor. These decisions helped restore sea trade routes despite the war.

Ukraine's experience will be used to improve the safety and efficiency of maritime transport in the Gulf region.

Context.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that Ukraine had never had such agreements in the region before. The new agreements are the result of an official visit of the Ukrainian delegation to the Middle East.
