Government to consider new taxes: what will change

On 30 March, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is considering significant tax innovations. The changes may affect businesses, citizens and digital platforms. This was announced by the Minister of Finance Sergey Marchenko.

Key tax initiatives

The government's main proposals include the introduction of VAT for e-commerce and digital platforms. Taxation of parcels from abroad worth up to EUR 150 is also being considered.

The government proposes to make the military duty of 5% permanent. These changes may affect the prices of online goods and imported parcels.

What was not included in the agenda

The draft law on the introduction of VAT for individual entrepreneurs has not yet been submitted for consideration. This means that tax changes for individual entrepreneurs are postponed.
