Russia's massive attack on Kharkiv on the night of 1 October
Kharkiv suffered another massive attack by Russian troops on the night of 1 October. The occupiers used rockets, guided bombs and drones.
Details of the attack
The enemy struck residential areas of Kyivskyi and Saltivskyi districts of the city, as well as Chuhuivskyi district. Some of the attacks were carried out by «shahed» drones, which caused further destruction in the residential sector.
Consequences.
According to official information, at least six people were injured, including two women aged 41 and 80, and four men aged 21 to 34, one of them a police officer. The injured were treated and some were hospitalised.
The strikes caused fires in residential buildings and commercial facilities, damaged market pavilions and private buildings. Rescuers extinguished the fires and cleared the rubble.
Reaction.
Local authorities urged residents of Kharkiv and the region not to ignore the alarms and stay in shelters.
