Russia attacks Donetsk region with drones: four people killed, including a 5-year-old child

Kramatorsk district In the village Cherkaske Russian troops attacked a private residential sector with a drone strike. The attack killed four people, including 5-year-old child.

Details of the attack

According to the rescuers, the strike hit a residential building, which was completely destroyed.

More five residents sustained injuries of varying severity. All the victims are being provided with medical assistance.

State Emergency Service units are at the scene of the tragedy:

  • disassembled about 500 kg of building structures;

  • extinguished the fire that started after the hit;

  • continue emergency rescue operations and survey of the area.

Russia systematically uses strike UAVs for attacks on civilian infrastructure in the frontline regions of Ukraine. Donetsk region remains one of the main targets due to its proximity to the frontline and dense residential areas.
