President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine mobilises up to 35,000 people every month for the needs of the Defence Forces.

According to him, this pace is due to the ongoing war and the need to maintain the combat capability of units at the front.

The Head of State stressed that the Ukrainian military was under heavy pressure, so the issue of rotations was critically important.

«The military is tired, we need rotations,» Zelenskyy said.

The President added that the mobilisation measures are aimed at:

  • manning combat units;

  • replacement of exhausted military personnel;

  • maintaining the stability of defence.
