Two injured in Odesa region after night attack by Russian Federation
Two people were injured as a result of a nighttime Russian attack on Odesa region. Rescuers were simultaneously working at several locations in the region.
Details of the attack
According to rescuers, the strike destroyed private residential buildings, caused fires and burned cars. A warehouse and an energy infrastructure facility were also damaged.
Separately, the destruction of the second floor of the lyceum was reported, but no fire broke out in the school.
Work of emergency services
The SES units worked at the sites of the shelling to eliminate the consequences of the shelling and provide assistance to the victims. The service's psychologists were also involved to support local residents.
Context.
Odesa region is regularly subjected to Russian air attacks, during which the enemy targets civilian and energy infrastructure. The region remains one of the key areas of air threat in southern Ukraine.
