Ukraine dismantles 34 drug labs and 74 warehouses during special operation «Rubicon»
Law enforcement officers liquidated 34 drug laboratories and 74 warehouses as part of the large-scale special operation Rubicon conducted on the territory of Ukraine. The results of the operation were announced by the head of the National Police Ivan Vygovsky.
Results of the special operation
According to the National Police, during the investigation, there were:
an extensive transnational drug infrastructure was exposed;
Dozens of drug manufacturing laboratories were dismantled;
the operation of warehouses for storing prohibited drugs was suspended.
In total, law enforcement officers seized about 27 million doses of drugs, whose estimated value on the «black market» is approximately UAH 400 million.

The operation covered various regions of Ukraine and was conducted in cooperation with international partners.
This is one of the largest anti-drug operations in recent years, aimed at:
destruction of drug production channels;
overlap in the logistics of their distribution;
bringing the organisers to criminal responsibility.

The fight against drug trafficking remains one of the key areas of work for Ukraine's law enforcement agencies.
Large interregional groups increasingly operate in the format of transnational networks, This requires coordination with law enforcement agencies in other countries.
