Rescuers extinguish fires in Sumy region after Russian strikes
As a result of regular Russian strikes on the territory of Sumy region fires broke out in the civilian sector. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fires, the SES reported.
Shostka community
У Shostka as a result of the attack, outbuildings and civilian houses caught fire. The fire engulfed several private properties and there was a threat of further fire spread.
Konotop community
У Konotop A non-residential building was heavily damaged. The hit caused intense fire, which was contained and completely extinguished.
The work of rescuers
Subdivisions State Emergency Service of Ukraine promptly arrived at the sites of the damage, extinguished the fires and inspected the areas.
According to official information, there were no reports of deaths or injuries.
Attacks on civilian infrastructure
Sumy region is regularly subjected to attacks by the Russian Federation, including attacks on residential areas and civilian objects. Rescuers urge residents not to ignore air raid warnings and to follow safety rules.
