Russian strike on Naftogaz facilities in Poltava region: rescuers extinguish fires

On the night of 8 February, Russian troops attacked an industrial facility related to the infrastructure of the “Naftogaz”. The attack resulted in the destruction of equipment and fires at several locations of the company.

According to the rescuers, all the fire hotspots were promptly extinguished.
There is no information on injuries or deaths.

About 200 employees of the SES and 60 units of equipment.

Context.

Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy and industrial infrastructure remain a key element of the war against the Ukrainian economy and energy system. Damage to fuel and energy facilities creates additional risks to the stability of energy supplies in the regions.
