Zelenskyy: Ukraine proposes «stand where we are» ceasefire model
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the principle of «standing where we are», which provides for fixing the current positions of the parties at the front.

According to the Head of State, this formula is seen as one of the foundations for further diplomatic steps aimed at reducing the intensity of hostilities.
At the same time, Zelensky stressed that no agreed decision on Zaporizhzhya NPP yet, and this issue remains one of the most difficult in the potential negotiation process.
A tripartite meeting is possible
The President noted that the most difficult topics can be discussed at the the upcoming trilateral meeting of the leaders, If the parties have previously prepared the necessary conditions for its implementation.
We are talking about security issues, control of territories and guarantees of implementation of possible agreements.

Ukraine has repeatedly emphasised that any negotiation formats should be based on international law, security guarantees and a real mechanism for monitoring the ceasefire.
The issues of the status of the occupied territories, nuclear safety, and long-term peace guarantees remain key challenges to a potential diplomatic settlement.
