Kyiv condemns threats amid massive Russian shelling
Ukraine rejects the ultimatum statements of the governments of Hungary and Slovakia regarding energy supplies and condemns the threats against the backdrop of Russia's ongoing massive attacks. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
Kyiv's position
The Foreign Ministry stressed that any pressure on Ukraine in the context of a full-scale war is unacceptable. The Ukrainian side emphasises that the threats came at a time when the country's energy infrastructure is being systematically attacked by Russia.
At the same time, Kyiv is in constant contact with the European Commission on the consequences of Russian attacks and the situation in the energy sector.
The situation with the oil pipeline
Ukraine informed Budapest and Bratislava about the current state of the pipeline. The Ukrainian side also offered its partners alternative routes for supplying oil of non-Russian origin.
The Foreign Ministry stresses that Kyiv remains open to constructive dialogue with its European partners.
