Zelensky: NATO should consider Oreshnik in Belarus as a legitimate target
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that NATO should consider the Oreshnik complex deployed in Belarus as a legitimate military target. The head of state said this while commenting on the growing military activity of Minsk and Moscow.
Training warnings
According to Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian side has information about the preparation of joint military exercises between Russia and Belarus on Belarusian territory.
The President reminded that large-scale exercises had previously preceded Russia's offensive against Ukraine.
«We'll see how big they are. But when they were very massive, the offensive on the territory of Ukraine began,» he said.
Risk assessment
The Head of State stressed that the current activity poses serious security threats.
«Therefore, all these are definitely big risks for Ukraine. And, I believe, there are big risks for Belarusians,» Zelensky stressed.
Context.
