President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Iran has not admitted its involvement in the downing of the Ukrainian plane and the killing of the passengers and crew. According to him, Iran continues to supply Russia with drones, despite promises to stop doing so. Zelenskyy called Iran an accomplice in the aggression against Ukraine.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy recalled the tragedy when the Iranian military shot down a Ukrainian passenger plane. The President stressed that Iran did not admit its guilt and did not allow international experts to investigate. Passengers and crew died in the crash, but there has been no official apology or recognition of responsibility.
Supply of Iranian drones to Russia
After the outbreak of a full-scale war, Iran began to supply Russia with Shahed attack drones, which are used to attack Ukrainian cities. Zelenskyy noted that he had personally asked the Iranian leadership to stop these deliveries. However, despite promises to limit the supply to one batch, Iran continued to transfer drones, which led to new civilian casualties.
Accusations of complicity and lying
The President of Ukraine emphasised that Iran's actions demonstrate complicity in Russian aggression. According to him, Iran lied about the scale of arms supplies and continues to support Russia, which makes it jointly responsible for crimes against Ukrainians.
