Starlink verification allowed at Nova Poshta and Ukrposhta branches
Ukraine now has an opportunity to pass terminal verification Starlink in the offices of Nova Poshta and Ukrposhta. This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
The service is available to individuals and is designed to simplify the procedure for confirming satellite Internet users.
What documents and data are required
To pass verification, you must provide:
terminal data: user account number on the Starlink portal, KIT number, UTID or Dish ID;
passport and RNOKPP;
personally visit the nearest post office;
submit a corresponding application.
On average, an application is processed within 48 hours, but due to high demand, there may be slight delays.
Why mandatory verification was introduced
In early February Ukraine introduces mandatory verification of Starlink terminals. The purpose of the decision is to make it impossible for the Russian military to use satellite communications and to strengthen control over equipment on the territory of the state.
The new mechanism is expected to help identify legitimate users more quickly and improve the security of digital infrastructure during the war.
