The second trailer of the fantasy film Mavka. A True Myth«
On the eve of the film's release, the creators of the Ukrainian fantasy «Mavka. A real myth» presented the second official trailer. The new video focuses on the theme of love, the internal conflicts of the characters and the mystical forces that influence their fate.
A love triangle and the secrets of the past
The trailer shows the development of the relationship between Mavka and Lukyan, who find themselves in an emotional love triangle. At the same time, the heroine's past is gradually revealed, which becomes the key to the main intrigue of the plot.
The mermaids, the rulers of the Dark Lake, play an important role in keeping its secrets. They add tension, mysticism and a sense of hidden danger to the story.
Music and creative team
The music for the trailer is a composition performed by YAKTAK і KOLA - a new arrangement of a fragment of the film's official soundtrack. The full release of the track is scheduled on the eve of Valentine's Day.
The film was directed by Katya Tsarik, and the main roles were played by Arina Bocharova and Ivan Dovzhenko.
When the premiere will take place
The national premiere of the film is scheduled for 22 February, and the wide Ukrainian release
«Mavka. A real myth» will come out of 1 March 2026.
The film combines elements of fantasy, romance and Ukrainian mythology, making it one of the most anticipated film premieres of the year.
