Kyrylo Budanov said that providing citizens with housing is the foundation of personal security and a key condition for the return of Ukrainians to the country. According to him, scaling up the eHousing programme is a direct way to economic recovery.
The official stressed that affordable housing is not just real estate, but a strategic resource for the country. He called for focusing resources on effective tools that really work.

Budanov reminded that during the war, the eHouse programme had already provided housing for more than 24,000 families. However, this is not enough for all internally displaced persons and refugees.
He noted that people will not return to «nowhere», so the issue of housing is a matter of state survival. For young officers, a mortgage is also an important incentive to continue their service.
